I had my wisdom teeth extracted and compared to the stories of friends, Dr. Doriot did a terrific job.

His office overall was great.

The office decor was very inviting and soothing, it had kind of an earthy tone.

The staff was very courteous and informative. They give you so many chances to ask questions before anything is done to make sure you are comfortable.

My surgery went great, I didn't feel a thing. Since I "went under" the assistant kindly brought me to my car on a wheel chair after my surgery.

Even my consultation was great, they explained everything in detail.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Doriot to anyone.

Beyond the cosmopolitan chic of this modern office, one will find a knowledgeable, precise young surgeon who genuinely cares for his patients. He is current, if not ahead-of-the-curve, on industry standards and innovations. The whole process was very thoughtful, with pain and swelling minimal. The friendly staff explained procedures very thoroughly. I feel that I knew almost exactly what to expect in surgery and after.

As a person who cringes at dental procedures, I was plagued by anxiety when my dentist ordered my impacted wisdom teeth to be removed. Dr. Doriot 's skill and care made it much easier than expected. Recovery went smoothly.

When I explained to Dr. Doriot of my only complaint - that I felt a bit rushed after surgery - he took it very personally. It is obvious that he strives to run a business "perfectly." His intentions are good. I would recommend him highly.

Simply great all around. Personnel were all extremely curteous and well trained. My 9 year old son had an impacted tooth pulled and could not have been treated any better. I recommend any child needing major work done to go to Dr. Doriot. He totally put my child at ease and made the whole thing a lot easier on him. Can't say enough good things about the whole experience.

Was recommended to Dr. Doriot by my family dentist Dr. Weaver. Dr. Weaver understood the level of anxiety I had about having the procedure done. There were a few other oral surgeons she could have referred me to, but Dr. Doriot was her first choice. From the moment I scheduled my consultation, to the very end, I could not have been happier. The office staff is impeccable, the surgical environment clean and inviting, and the professionalism Dr. Doriot exhibited was refreshing. He certainly addresses the client with sincerity and above all compassion. Out of the 100's of patients his office sees monthly, not sure of their experience, but I can assure you mine was pleasant, and without much worry. I would certainly recommend his services to anyone in need of oral surgery, especially those who suffer from high levels of anxiety.

I had my wisdom tooth, impacted, taken out. Everything went very smoothly, including recovering from general anesthesia.

I was in pain a few days later and I called his office, which was closed at the time. Dr. Doriot returned my call in a couple of minutes.

If you live in downtown and can drive to the suburbs, visiting Dr. Doriots office is worth the trip

I would recommend Dr. Doriot to a member of my family, definitely!

I was referred to the Northern Virginia Center for Oral, Facial, & Implant Surgery in Fairfax, VA by my dentist (Dr. Ossakow) for an extremely painful impacted and infected wisdom tooth. The office has a spa-like setting and is nicely located. The staff at Dr. Doriot's office is the absolute best around! Everyone was very pleasant and treated me with real care. I filled out a couple of forms and they took care of all insurance matters. Dr. Doriot reviewed my dental xray with me, told me what my options for surgery were, and told me what I could expect.

Like most people who go to a dentist or oral surgeon, I was very nervous. But Dr. Doriot put me at ease during the consultation. The surgery went well with no pain under general anesthesia. After going home on surgery day, Dr. Doriot called me at home that evening to see how I was doing. He listened to what I had to say, then told me if I needed anything to make sure that I call him. I honestly felt like Dr. Doriot had a genuine concern for me as a patient. I absolutely recommend Dr. Doriot and will definitely see him again if the need arises. Kudos to Dr. Doriot and everyone at the Northern Virginia Center for Oral, Facial, & Implant Surgery! You guys are the BEST!

The office is nice and the service is great. Dr. Doriot is very nice and informs you of everything. The staff is also great as well. I got my wisdom teeth extracted and it was painless. He gives out his cell/pager number in case of emergencies. I would definitely refer people to him.

Dr. Doriot extracted an abscessed tooth and inserted an implant. I found both he and his staff to be excellent. They were very soothing and helpful while I was in a great deal of pain with the abscess and the care given couldn't have been better in a hospital. The implant went very smoothly and easily. Follow-ups are a routine (without additional charges) and I never felt that anyone was too busy to spend time with me and answer questions. I thoroughly recommend his practice and have done so to a number of others already.

I went in to Dr. Doriots office because my Dentist told me I needed to have all four wisdom teeth out or the rest of my teeth would be ruined pretty rapidlly because my wisdom teeth were growing in completlly sideways and potintially ruining the rest of my teeth.

I was in a lot of pain due to presure on my other teeth and I was frusterated becaue the oral surgeun that my dentist refered me to didnt take my insurence. Luckily I grabbed the phone book and the first number I called was Dr. Doriots office. The staff was so nice and seemed to actually care I wasnt just money coming in which is what I expected. I met with Dr. Doriot and the Anestetialagist and felt completlly at ease He understood that I was scared having never been under anestetia and scared of taking pain medicine. As much as I didnt want to have surgery in the first place the experience was not as tramatic as I expected And they treat you like your at a Spa.

Afterwards when I was recovering he called me at home to see how I was which I didnt expect because I thought " Another patient another day." He was so incredibly sensitive about my situation and cute! , I would absolutly recomend him. I have! I will always go to him if I need work.

I had a growth in the top of mouth; alarming considering I dip. I called four surgeons, told them how worried I was and no one could even look at it for several weeks. When I called Dr. Doriot's office and told them what was going on, I got an appointment for a consultation the next day.

The first thing he told me was I wouldn't have a growth on the roof of my mouth from dipping--it wasn't cancer. Turns out, dentists are serious when they tell you to floss. Although embarrassing to admit, the growth was a result of poor oral hygiene. We scheduled another appointment to have it cut out.

The procedure took close to an hour but aside from being squeamish it was easy. It didn't hurt. I was awake the whole time and surprising very relaxed at times (odd, considering I sweat profusely in a dentist's chair).

Afterwards, he told me it would hurt for a couple days, but it never did.

Every once in a while you find a true professional. I just wish he also did cleanings.

I approached having my last three wisdom teeth removed with great hesitation (i'm in my mid-30's and my lingual nerve was severed on my first attempt a few years back leaving me with no feeling or taste on the lower left side ), but they had to come out. After thoroughly researching all of my options - including the fancy oral surgeon recommended by the head of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine - I decided to go with Dr. Doriot.

I could not have asked for a better experience. The consultation was seemless. (He even spent more than 45 minutes talking to me and discussing my history.) His assistants and office staff are the best - really attentive to my concerns and needs. And the office - the waiting area is more like a living room pulled from Architectural Digest than an oral surgeons office. The equipment is all state of the art. Of course, in the end all that matters is that Dr. Doriot is an excellent oral surgeon and I would recommend him without hesitation. (Also takes insurance - a big bonus b/c these procedures are not inexpensive)

The office staff were very friendly. Dr. Rob put me off a bit by his youthful appearence at first, but he seemed very knowledagble. He took his time to thoroughly explain all my options, procedures and was very patient. He worked very quickly on me and even called me personally later in the evening to make sure everything was ok. Going to a Dentist is never "fun" but this Dr and his staff made it as plesant an experience as I could hope for.

Dr. Doriot extracted my daughter's wisdom teeth....she had no pain or discomfort and was up and about the next day. Then he did an implant on me. I only wish he did general dental work as I would probably go to the dentist more often....can't say enough about him!

If you're going to get wisdom teeth pulled, this is the place to go! It's a beautiful office, great staff, they do all the work with your insurance company. Dr. Fallon, who did my surgery was a real pro. I had a great experience.

I had an infected wisdom tooth and was in extreme pain.

I found Dr. Doriot on this website and was very happy when they took me in right away.

The office looks like a day spa, and not a dentist's office! The decor is soothing, the atmosphere is calm, and the receptionist is fantastic. There is even designer coffee served in elegant cups.

This doctor is extremely competent and very pleasant. I felt completely at ease with him and his staff. The procedure went quickly, without complications, and I was given thorough aftercare instructions. Dr. Doriot even called that night to check on me.

I highly recommend this oral surgeon. He makes what would be an unpleasant experience almost fun!
