I have been seeing Dr. Cocolis for about two years. I have have periodontal issues and have had cavities filled as well as root planing and scaling. Dr. Cocolis is a genuinely warm and friendly man. Like going to see a friend. The best dentist I have ever had.

When my old dentist told me I needed an implant he also informed me that I would require other significant dental work due to excessive tooth mobility; I went to Dr Cocolis for a second opinion. Dr Cocolis really took the time to carefully assess my treatment needs and the cause of my dental problems. I was so impressed that I dropped my old dentist and chose Dr Cocolis to do my front tooth implant. During the same treatment session as the implant he also removed two wisdom teeth. That night Dr Cocolis called me to check on my condition. I had no discomfort or pain during or after the treatment. The implant matches my other teeth and is cosmetically and functionally perfect. Based on his treatment plan, I wear a mouth guard (occlusal guard) at night to prevent putting pressure on my front teeth. This simple solution enabled me to avoid the extra dental work recommended by my old dentist. Wearing the guard has reduced the force on my teeth, allowed them to tighten up and reduced the mobility problem. I haven't had any trouble with my implant since it was installed 4 years ago. Dr Cocolis and his office staff provide high quality, professional and friendly treatment. My family now see him for our all of our dental needs.

Everyone makes an effort to connect to you personally. Don't be surprised when random staff persons greet you by name that you don't even remember meeting on previous visits! The office is set up to facilitate communication. You may hear a hundred conversations going on around you from voices hidden behind partitions. Occasionally your hygienist will add her two cents to the ether, but don't worry; she won't get distracted from her business. When you are having something serious done you will soon realize the wisdom of the arrangement. If you listen carefully you will hear verbal checks from more experienced staff members and offers to assist. It's not hard to keep track of the location of "Dr. C" as they call him. Regular outbursts of laughter fill the office wherever he goes. Dr. C and his staff are down-to-earth, straight shooting professionals, so get ready to hear the truth. They won't leach you for your money. Dr. C and his team did a great job on my porcelain cap. They matched my front teeth so perfectly, I lost track of it in the mirror!

Dr. Cocolis was very thorough and knowledgeable. I only went to him for a year while I was in the area, but in that time he helped me out with great cleanings, x-rays including a detailed explanation for me, and information on better brushing techniques. He and his staff are very friendly and make all services pain free. He is a little expensive but probably not far off from his peers.

Doctor Cocolis AND HIS STAFF are true professionals that create a very pleasant atmosphere.

I had major restoration work done and spent quite some time with Dr. Cocolis.

Not only that the final results were GREAT but also the whole process was painless and quite fun.

My wife and I are satisfied patients of Dr. Cocolis and with a baby on the way I am sure Dr. Cocolis will have one more patient pretty soon.

I had major pain and problems with one tooth for a few years. I went to several dentists who tried different things to treat the problem. Dr. Pete fixed the problem in two visits. I don't have any pain or sensitivity with that tooth any more. He is the best!

THe staff is always friendly and courteous. I really like going there. I would recommend this dentist to everyone. Dr. Pete always explains what he is going to do and that makes me feel relaxed. He's funny too!

Dr. Cocolis and his staff are always helpful, personable and upbeat. The atmosphere is always positive. He's performed a lot of dental work for me in the past and I will continue to go to him in the future. They are always willing to discuss everything in advance and willing to work with whatever dental plan that you are under to keep out of pocket expenses down to a minimum. With such a nice spa type environement it is nice to feel as though you matter and that they truly care about you and your needs. Dr. Cocolis and staff try to make you as comfortable as possible and make your dental experience as pleasant as posssible. I've never been in any pain while in there chairs. He's great and so is his staff! He set the standard for how an office should be.

Dr. Cocolis and the entire staff gave me the best care I have ever had. I had an emergency situation and I was in a lot of pain and he took me in right away. The whole staff comforted me and treated me like I was the only patient there, even though I was not. He explained step by step what he was going to do and constantly asked me if I was comfortable. Everyone in there kept coming back to check on me to make sure I was ok. Even though they don't handle workman's comp. cases, the adminstrative staff took care of that for me so I wouldn't have to and could focus on getting well. I walked in to his office a mess, in terrible pain, and my spirit low. I walked out in no pain, head held high, and with a smile on my face.

Dr. Cocolis did two front crowns for me. Between the two ofus, he was by far the more critical judge, and went the extra mile to make sure that they were an appropriate match for the rest of my teeth. My wife's father was a dentist, and even she was thrilled with the outcome.

Kudo's to the rest of the staff for their pleasant and professional attitudes. Dr. Cocolis has a very high-quality team supporting him in this practice.

Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful, the receptionists, hygienist, dentist. They seemed interested in me not just my teeth. This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a dentists office. The treatment was a little more expensive than I anticipated but that could be because I am new to the area and all dentists are expensive. I don't know.

Never thought I would write a testimonial on a dentist! Dr Pete is the best. This man is not at all impressed with himself inspite of his great credentials. I had questions before my procedure and he stopped what he was doing and explained to me what needed to be done, showed me with the intra oral camera what needed to be done now and what could wait until another time. He talked during the procedure to let me know what he was doing and it went great. It did not hurt.

Prices are on par to slightly better than some dentist I have visited. Lets face it, nothing is cheap in the DC area. His office is nicely appointed and the staff is super competent and friendly. Suzy cleaned my teeth better than anyone in 15 years! She is a gem.

Dr Pete Cocolis is heads and above any dentist that I have encountered in my 60 years of life. I'm not an easy case, a smoker with advanced perio and few molars and rapidly declining front teeth. I do however have hope and an intense desire to retain what I have and add through implants. I love a great steak and do not relish the idea of eating bananas the rest of my life.

Dr Pete gave me that hope, has put me on the right track, and made an immeasurable difference in my life. What a professional!

Caring, concern and the feeling of well-being is what you get when you walk in his office. He and his staff make you feel like you are a part of their family.

I left my previous dentist due to feeling like "just another mouth". I waited quite some time and when I walked in to Dr. Cocolis's office, I knew it was the right fit. The staff are unbelievably caring and sincerely so. Dr. Cocolis was very, very understanding of my pain needs and made sure I was satisfied completely. Everyone from the front desk staff to the hygenists, assistants, and the doctor are very attentive to you as a patient. They make the insurance submission easy and smooth. They explain every single detail to the patient. I was completely relaxed, and at ease within one hour of arriving. It has been the best dental experience I have ever had and I've been going for 40 years!! Additionally, they did not give up on my teeth whitening, going so far as to find another brand and stick with me until I was satisfied.

Dr. Cocolis and his staff are extremely nice, caring, sensitive, and unrushed. Procedures are always done without pain and the comfort level of the client is foremost in the minds of the entire staff as the work is being performed. He is a perfectionist, when he did my implant and he wasn't 100% satisfied with the results he spent as much as needed to make sure it was perfect before I left the chair.

When any major work is done the Doctor always follows up with a phone call to ensure everything is okay.

I've had to call him twice for emergencies and each time he took care of me within hours, even on a Sunday.

I have and would recommend him to anyone. They all make going to the dentist a relatively pleasant experience.

I totally recommend Dr Cocolis and his staff for any dental treatments needed. As military members we've had dentists worldwide and he has by far surpassed them all in effectiveness of care and ability to make you feel comfortable with your treatments. We have gone so far as to schedule our holidays in the area and make sure we get our check-ups and cleaning done while there from overseas. Again, I highly recommend him.

Dr. Cocolis and all of his staff are the most kind, sensitive, and professional people I have ever allowed touch my teeth. I had to have a cavity filled recently and it was the easiest, fastest, and least painfull cavity filling I have ever had. The last dentist I went to for years before going to Dr. Cocolis was very nice and the fact that this doctor and all of his staff were even nicer was a suprize to me. I usually hate going to the dentist because, no matter what, I would always get a brow beating for not flossing like I should. Now I actually want to floss, not only for my own health, but because I know that no one will be judgmental toward me. They tell you what you need in a straight forward manner and they treat me like I am an adult who will do what I want. Negative attitudes rarely work in getting someone to change their habbits. I would also say that their price is very reasonable for the treatment I get from them. I have "white coat" syndrome which means that I become very anxious and my blood pressure goes up every time I see a doctor. Dr. Cocolis and his staff were very sensitve to this and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this doctor to everyone looking for a new dentist.

Hands down the nicest dentist in the Northern VA area... OR any area actually!

The office staff just adds more to the overall equation! You really do feel like your well looked after and taken care of!

Not to mention the fact that the offices are warm and comfortable, you never get that "sterile" feeling that just adds anxiety to the visit... I will never go to another dentist!
