Patient Review 1:
What a great office! I hadn't been to the dentist in 10 years, and the staff treated me with such courtesy. I was afraid that I'd be looked down on for not having taken care of my teeth, but the staff was so non-judgmental and friendly. The place is really nice too and I felt very much at ease when I first walked it.
About Hygienist: Julie did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth, explaining what needed to be done and putting my fears to rest. She was very gentle and cleaned up 10 years of gunk with no problem at all. It may be a bit expensive, but this this office is worth it!

Like most people, I am terrified of the dentist. I went to this office because I needed significant work done and they not only have a very clean office, but all of the people who work there are so kind and helpful. When you call with a question or problem, they make you feel like the only person they have had to talk to all day long and you end up feeling like the most important person of the day. I will never go to another dentist. Dr. Johnson is the only one I will ever need again.

Excellent facilities. Excellent staff and service. I've been with Dr. Johnson ever since I had to make an emergency appointment with him for a severe toothache more than 10 years ago. The service was great then. It's even better now.

I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson's for a LONG time because he has the absolute BEST chairside manner and is incredibly sensitive to his patients pain (sometimes TOO sensitive...he truly "feels your pain"). He has recently completely renovated his office transforming it from a 1950's converted home (uggh!) into a state of the art facility with all the toys that you would ever want, from TVs in every room to video games for the kiddies in the waiting room. He seems to subscribe to the theory that "he who dies with the most toys...wins" and that works for me...and my kids. His staff is first class and very responsive to your needs. While the cost of his services is not cheap, he does not perform unnecessary services and honestly attempts to minimize cost to you. I have very sensitive teeth and have required many more than my share of root canals ( :( which suck! ) but he has taken very good care of me. I have good enough insurance that I could go to any dentist that I want to, but I choose to go to, and remain with, Dr. Johnson because he is uniquely gifted in taking care of my dental needs. I highly recommend him to anyone, and will be taking my kids to him as soon as they are old enough!

I've been going to Dr. Johnson since 1984. He and his staff are fabulous. Very professional, newly renovated offices, reasonable rates, and they keep current with the evolving technology of dentistry. You cannot go wrong with Dr. J.

Dr. Johnson's office was recommended by a coworker and it was everything I was looking for. The new facility is very clean and everyone at the front desk was very friendly. They made sure I knew how much my insurance plan would cover before any procedures were started. The hygenists made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure and the music/TV provided a good distraction from the sounds of drilling. I went in for an exam, ended up having a filling replaced, but I was still done in a little over an hour. Highly recommended!

Dr. Johnson and his staff are very good. I have had just about every dental procedure known and have found Dr. Johnson to be very comforting and empathetic. I had a root canal done last month that was somewhat painful (I have a family history of soft teeth) but Dr. Johnson made the pain as minimal as possible. They have just finished the office renovation and it is beautiful! I have noticed a bit of a turnover in other dentists and some dental assistants but attribute a lot of that to a growing practice. As a child, I had a horrible dentist that did not believe in using novocaine at all and I feared dentists well into adulthood. I only wish I could have had Dr. Johnson as a dentist (or someone like him) back then. He has even called on occasion on the evening of my having a procedure done to see how I am feeling. The office staff are great, too!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. They talk me through everything that will happen and make reccomendations for treatment and overall dental health. Office hours are easy to accomodate and fit to my schedule. The current facility is undergoing a major renovation, but it should be much more adequate upon completion. He is sensitive, kind, patient and always makes you feel like you are his only paitent when he is treating you. He explains the procedures and walks you through the process. Used to find the office and staff homey and helpful, but the expansion on the office has complicated things. Now there seems to be a high turnover of both hygienists and dentists, and last year we witnessed one member of the front office absolutely freak out on a group of contractors working on the expansion. Hopefully the finished product will be worth all the disruption, and things will run smoothly in the future. I think Dr. Johnson does a very good job as a dentist, so if they can get past the growing pains and snag some a few loyal dentists and hygienists for the long haul, we'll gladly go back.
