Patient Review 1:

I'm a fairly new patient to Dr. Ziomek's office. I am SOOO happy to have found her! Dr. Ziomek is personable, honest and a wonderful dentist. Her staff is professional, capable, kind and helpful - like one big happy family in a tightly but openly run ship. My kids like she and her staff (especially Dr. Schneider) as well, and they're teenagers!!! My elderly mom visited too, and says she'll definitely be back. I highly recommend Dr. Ziomek and her staff to all ages and dental issues.

I would recommend Dr. Ziomek to anyone looking for a dentist in the Metro DC area. Even if you do not live in Rockville, her service is worth the commute! Not only did Dr. Ziomek correct the poor dental work of my past dentist, but she made the overall dental experience pleasant--which is not something everyone can say about going to the dentist. I am so grateful to have a dentist I can trust.

Dr. Ziomek is wonderful. She treats you as an individual person, not just another patient in a chair. She listens to your concerns and works to find a custom solution just for you. She is the nicest friendliest doctor I have ever had.

I no longer live near this office, but I still drive the 40 miles to keep her as my dentist.

I have known Dr. Ziomek for almost 20 years. She is the dentist for my entire family and many of my friends. She has received awards for her achievements and community service. . My grown children love her. In fact, my teenage son talks about wanting to become a dentist because he admires Dr. Z. so much. It is a blessing to know that my children actually like going to the dentist. I grew up fearing dentists so I am grateful to have a dentist that is kind and gentle for my family. My son fell down when he was a skateboarding and if it was not for Doctor Ziomek, he wiould not have his front teeth today. She is kind and caring and knowledgable and well-trained.

Tucked in a ground level suite in a medical practices building off Old Georgetown road, Dr. Ziomek's small but warm offices welcome you with friendly and attentive service. Mary's calm and supportive manner immediately rubs off on you - as does the similar support from her staff.

Mary will gladly explain dental procedures in layman's terms and always seems genuinely interested in your best dental health. Her offices sport state of the art equipment that facilitates her practice. The offices are decorated with lots of cute dental art. Great reading selection.

Mary is the best I've experienced in eliminating pain and discomfort. Elaine at the front always takes special care to review appointments.

Did you know that Mary is a past president of the Southern Maryland Dental Society, a member of both the American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists, and has done volunteer dentistry in Central America? She gives a lot.

About Hygienist: Grace is an excellent hygienist who does a super job of inspecting and cleaning teeth.

Dr. Z. (as I call her) is the best. I've known her for quite a number of years. When she became a dentist I hadn't been to a dentist for about 15 years because my prior experiences had all, and I do mean all, been extremely traumatizing. My blood pressure and respiration would increase immediately upon entering the facility. Of course now that is no longer the case. She is such a good dentist that I travel from Owings Mills to see her. There is no other dentist I would venture to see at this stage in my life (retired). She is capable, considerate, caring and always presents herself with a positive and calming demenor that is also mimicked by her staff. In my book she walks on water.

Dr. Ziomek is The Best!

There is fear and then there is unreserved terror. Prior to seeing Dr. Ziomek, I was seized by panic every time I even thought of dentists, so extreme was my fear that I had not been to one in 35 years.

Doctor Ziomek's kindness, caring attitude, patience and calm demeanor instantly diminished my anxiety. Her expertise is clearly evidenced by her skillful, meticulous yet gentle technique and approach to all procedures. From the moment you pick up the phone to make an appointment, you are treated with respect, courtesy and consideration. She and her team are very patient-oriented, they will do all they can to accommodate the patients' schedule, finances, and insurance issues. I am scheduled for 2 procedures over the next 7 days, and I can honestly say that I am feeing no fear.

I cannot say enough good things about Doctor Ziomek and her team.

I chose Dr. Ziomek based on the feedback listed here and I can only add my appreciative remarks to the previous patient statements. I was treated kindly and respectfully from the moment I made my appointment. All staff from front desk to assistants were pleasant, professional and seemed genuinely committed to assuring my experience was positive. Dr. Ziomeck was the consummate professional! She LISTENED to my complex history, never made me feel "shamed" because previous very negative outcomes from dental procedures have kept me from seeking care for an extended time. Her expertise was enhanced by her kind attitude and gentle exam. I trusted her recommendations. She referred me to a specialist to address my unique issues and this added to my appreciation of her professionalism.....she wanted the best outcome for me. When I am ready to return to her care, I will have no hesitation or anxiety. The facilities were spotless and inviting, the fees extremely reasonable. I recommend her to anyone seeking the best in dental services.

Dr. Mary as my whole family calls her is terrific! I would drive many miles to retain her as my dentist. We live in Anne Arundel County and all 5 of us are patients. My children love her as do their parents. She is always patient, interested in your life, and very competent. I would highly recommend her for any age!

Sheila and I regularly travel over 20 miles from Virginia to be treated by Dr. Ziomek, passing by scores of closer dentists along the way. But we feel it is worth it! She is extroardinarily capable and caring. Just one example: she worked ingenuously to find a way to save one of Sheila's front teeth, which a specialist insisted had to be pulled. Dr. Ziomek's efforts saved Sheila many months of painful, time-consuming procedures.

Not only did Dr. Ziomek do a superb job in my opinion on the repair of my front tooth which had almost a third of the tooth chipped away, but another dentist who looked at that tooth afterwards remarked at what a fine job was done. Dr. Ziomek's chair- side manner was professional, she cares about the comfort of her patients. Although she was busy at the time of my appoinment for this procedure, she never made me feel that she was rushed. Her staff has always been professional, efficient and cheerful. I am 60 years old and have seen many different dentists over the years, without question Dr. Ziomek is the best I have ever had and I give her my highest recommendation.

I have been Dr. Z.'s patient for more than 10 years. My whole family loves her and we know she cares about us. She is a very skilled dentist and has always taken very good care of us in her clean, modern office. She is a good person and a wonderful dentist. She has always gone the extra mile for us.

Wish I had seen this list before - but a friend sent me to Dr Z and I am VERY happy with her. I have been in great fear of dental care, and had some trauma which led me to her care. She has had to send me to an oral surgeon and an endodontist, but all very good. And she had taken great care to calm me down. Her manner in person is exceptional, and she has a great website that explains things. She has "high tech care with a gentle touch."

The staff has been very good about getting me right in to see her - now that I'm back in the chair, I want to get this all done, and they have been great at assisting me with that. Very easy to make appointments. They are making sure I have the billing right and get my insurance right, and that has also been a great relief. Frankly, after years away, I have no idea what is expensive or cheap for a dentist. But if she can get me in the door and I don't run away, I am happy. It is putting a dent on my wallet, but I realize a part of that has been my fear keeping me away from the dentist.

I don't know about "health spa" but she has the most calming and modern dental suite I've been in.

Dr. Ziomek is fantastic. She's caring, competent, congenial, and a really loving caregiver. On top of that, she really knows her stuff. She actually trained with doctors at Wake Forest. I believe everything she says at her website, www.all-smiles.net, she would do what's best for me regardless of what it meant for her. Nobody has ever made me feel so comfortable. My ZOOM whitening went off without a hitch. In only one hour my smile was so bright that I dazzled myself. Incredible. She may not be the cheapest dentist in the area, but she costs me less in the long run. She makes sure to maximize my insurance benefits, and she submits the claim for me to ensure that the are right. I give her six out of five stars!!!!!.
