I needed my first filling and I'm terribly phobic of dentists but I am so glad I went to Dr. Schneider. I was extremely panicky on my first visit and was very understanding and patient with me. He did alot to try and help me calm down for the filling and it was virtually pain free. The facilities are just fine, the fact that it's a smaller office doesn't really make any difference. I highly recommend Dr. Schneider, especially to those that have any kind anxieties about going to the dentist.

I had a great experience with Dr. Schneider. I quit going to my previous dentist because he had a habit of belittling and lecturing his patients. When I made an appointment with Dr. Schneider, I had not been to the dentist in 3+ years. In looking for a new dentist, I definitely wanted someone who would be non-judgmental and who would not make me once again stop going to the dentist. Dr. Schneider and his staff could not have been nicer or more welcoming. They were extremely positive and professional, and made going to the dentist extremely stress free. I also thought that Dr. Schneider was very knowledgeable and had an excellent way of interacting with his patients. Overall I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone!

About Hygienist: I don't remember the hygienist's name, but she was fabulous. Very gentle, easy-going, and efficient!

About Hygienist: The dental hygienist was very thorough, explained everything, Very professional. My mouth needs alot of work, so she was quite gentle. Thanks.

Dr. Schneider and his staff were kind, helpful and very professional. They were on time, took care to explain what was going on, and were gentle. It was my first appointment with them and was just a cleaning.

Their office is located in a great spot, but it isn't very impressive itself. They clearly care a lot about their patients and are excellent at delivering quality service.

I had never been to a dentist before Dr Schneider. It was the most pleasant experience you could imagine. His injections aren't injections, they're mouth massages! I never even knew I was poked! The staff is lovely. Everyone was nice and made me feel like I was on the set of Cheers. It was that comfortable. I recalled all the horror stories I had heard people tell me about going to the dentist and as my first time I would feel pain unlike anything I had ever felt before. It's really a good experience and hope you try it out!

I am a new patient to Dr. Scneider. After having moved to DC from California I had to find a new dentist. I was nervous since I have been going to the same great dentist at home for my entire life. However, Dr. Schneider's office was great. Everyone there is warm and friendly. I am so happy to have found a dentist I like so much on the first try! I got my teeth cleaned there in the fall, and not only did it go well, but it was of high quality just like home. After having visited another dentist in college I know this is not the case everywhere.

Dr. Schneider is a class act. After moving to DC from New York I was anxious about finding a new dentist. It had taken me five visits to find a dentist I was happy with in New York. But luckily I read the review on this site before seeking a provider in DC. Dr Schneider was my first and will be my only dentist in DC. He's wonderful. He and his staff are thorough and very personable. He has my seal of approval!

I had not been to the dentist in over 15 years! I knew it was long overdue but I kept putting it off. I promised my family I would go and I wish I had visited Dr. Schneider's Office sooner. Bottom line is this: Excellent customer service, extremely friendly, relaxed atmospere and Dr. Schneider was very informative and straight forward. 1/2 block from Metro too! I left regreting I hadnt visited sooner but knowing that I now have a regular dentist.

If you need a dentist, this is the place to go....stop looking anywhere else....you are just wasting your time.

I've had a nasty toothache for quote some time. Despite the fact he is booked solid and one of the most prominent dentists in DC, he took me the next business day. I saw two other dentists that did nothing for me and he is the only one with a reasonable theory as to why I am suffering, and a solution to end it. I haven't been treated yet, and the date they scheduled me is a bit farther out than I'd like (or am comfortable with), but I am willing to wait for him based on what I have seen so far. Stay tuned...

Dr. Schneider was very kind and professional. His staff is nice and friendly. They were able to get me an appt. very quickly and fixed the problems in my teeth. They were flexable with their payment plan when I didn't have insurance.

I would recommend Dr. Schneider to anyone, he will alleviate your fears about going to the dentist, you may even look forward to it :-)

Awesome dentist! I highly recommend him and his staff! I've been going to this office for 4 years for routine cleanings, fillings, etc. I would use Dr. Scheider for any procedure that comes up, including bleaching or any cosmetic treatments. He's a top-notch dentist!

Awesome.

Every member of the staff is so nice, accomodating and responsive.

Dr. Schneider was fantastic despite me being away from a dentist for a year and a half and forgetting to track down my previous dental history.

I hate the dentist and he made it painless. I also heard his interactions with other patients and he was always calm and patient. Wish he'd been my dentist my whole life.

There are tv's up towards the ceiling facing "the chair" so you can watch tv while your teeth are getting fixed. It helps to get the mind off the procedure.

I went in this morning to have two cavities fixed. The procedure took less than one hour for both. Dr. Schneider made sure that I was not in any kind of pain. He has no problem administering more novocaine if it's needed. I'm going in next wed. for one more and that should be it.

It was a pleasant surprise when he mentioned I grind my teeth. I must be doing it when I sleep because I know I don't do it while I'm awake. No dentist in my entire life has ever brought it up, so we will be discussing mouthpieces on my next appointment. Apparently my back teeth are more worn out compared to say, a 35-40 year old's back teeth. He just saved me from getting dental crowns this early in my life. (24 years old)

You can't been quality work. I've recommended him to two people already today.

The first contact over the phone with the friendy staff was already impressive - they do a great job trying to pronounce my name right, which not often happens when you are a foreigner!

Everyone in Dr. Schneiderﾴs practice seems to be ready to listen to your concerns, answer questions, give recommendations and to do an excellent job with a great friendly attitude.

I had a very pleasant experience during my first visit to the dentist after moving from Brazil to DC and I feel confident that I have found the right Dentist for me (well, my husband did the research first...)

I had gone to only one dentist my whole life until I recently moved, so I was nervous to try someone new. Dr. Schneider's office was welcoming, pleasant, and very clean. They made sure my insurance covered my cleaning, and they took the time to know my name. Dr. Schneider made an effort to get to know me as a person, explained to me everything he was doing and explained the dental issues in a language I could understand. We joked and laughed, and the minute I walked out of his office, I was recommending him to my co-workers. I love his location in downtown DC because I can visit on a break from work.

Overall a great facility and a wonderful staff.I love the staff, they are very nice to patients. The location is very good for me.
