We took our daughter to Ghatri when she was 11 - referred by Dr. Bassiri. Her bite was never correct with this Dr.. Once he totally messed up and had her teeth poking way forward after a tightening - obviously a screw-up. Communications on the plan were pretty awful. We went to the Fairfax office. It seems he has 3 or 4 - Fredericksburg, Springfield and Fairfax. Our daughter is back to square one with a new orthodontist now at 16 - what a waste of a LOT of $$!

I loved this office. The staff is super friendly. I got the smart clip braces and I have not had much pain at all. I would have minor aches after getting new wires but it would go away with a tylenol and I would be good to go. Also I used to hear people saying that braces would make my gums bleed but I've never had this problem with these braces, they are not bothersome at all. The office offers amazing payments plans that require no down payment or interest payments. Dr. Ghatri's office (Springfield office) is very nice. He uses all the latest "high-tech" equipment. Imaging, x-rays, photographs, the works.His technique seems to be a little invasive - surgery, extractions, etc. He's after a perfect result.

Please do not let him talk you into having teeth like someone you admire. I understand that you have to be who you are. I was told that I could have teeth like someone famous. I said really that sounds great. At the end I was told that everyone's mouth is shaped differently and the only way to have a nice smile like the person I admired was to have them veneered. The point, Dr. Ghatri should have said that your mouth will set only in a way that your mouth is shapped. My teeth are ok , but they could be better. I also had a dentist say that I could have got better results at a cheaper price. Shop around more and don't let the coupon fool you, that is how they get you in the door.

Patient Review 6:
Having never received orthodontic services, I am a newbie as an adult requiring braces. Appointments are not always easy to reschedule as he works from various offices and the patients are limited to receiving treatment in one facility. Consequently, a missed appointment may set your treatment back 1 month. Also, your time with the Dr. Ghatri is very limited as most of your treatment is at the hands of an assistant who are generally quite pleasant. The problem is that they are not able to give you any feedback or answer questions regarding your treatment. Dr. Ghatri, who at times seems overly patronizing with his use of the word honey to refer to his assistances and female patients, does not explain treatment progress or much else and can be somewhat heavy-handed when doing procedures. Due to the lack of communication, I am not sure where I am in my treatment. Ive had the braces for 9 months and was told 12 months.

I've been with Dr. Ghatri's as a patient for just over 11 months now and I actualy enjoy going there. The service is exceptional and so is all of the staff. They are all well educated, informative to the patients, contain a flexable payment plan and I would recommend them to anyone. Darcy Redding
