Patient had spaces between the upper teeth because of congenital absence of two permanent teeth. As a result the upper teeth were further back relative to the lower teeth (slight underbite).

In order to match the number of teeth between the upper and lower arches, and be able to close all upper spaces, two teeth had to be removed from the lower arch. The braces corrected the problem in 24 months.
