Dr. Choe is the consumate professional. He's talented, caring, professional and extremely gentle. I can state, he makes going to the dentist a pleasure. He is genuinely concerned about the well being of his patients. I not only appreciate his abilities as a dentist, but I truly appreciate his qualities as a sincerely caring person. His staff follows up with insurance coverage issues promptly and they are always a pleasure to deal with. They have an up to date operation and send me email reminders when I have an appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Choe's dental practice.

Dr. Choe and staff have been better than wonderful and accommodating throughout my entire experience. My initial visit was for a cleaning and X-rays. My next visit was scheduled for the following week to remove all four wisdom teeth. I had emergencies that required me to move my appointment, and they helped me to do so. When I came in for my second visit, I had zero wait time, as either Dr. Choe or his assistant Georgina were attending to me the entire time. Dr. Choe was very helpful with my post-surgery directions and even called me that evening to make sure I was doing fine. He makes himself very available to his patients, even providing his cell phone number, and cares very much for them. He is also very knowledgeable in other dental-related issues, such as dental devices and sleep apnea. I would highly recommend this doctor to others.

I went in once for annual check up and the second time to get my bottom wisdom teeth removed. Both times, Dr. Choe was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding each procedure. Before each action was taken, he would explain why/what was going on, which I liked very much. When pain was anticipated, he would warn me in advance so that I wouldn't be surprised. During the whole procedure, Dr. Choe kept checking up on me to find out whether I was in discomfort or not. What I like the best about Dr. Choe is that he lets the patient know what's happening, such as why I'm going through a certain procedure, what can be done to prevent it in the future, why I'm taking the pills that have been prescribed to me, etc. Overall, his service was very professional and pleasant. I would strongly recommend my friends and family to go to Dr. Choe's for dental service.

I am not sure why people like the Dentist so much. I had to wait for 45 mins and when I asked the receptionist how long she asked me if I had to be somewhere. I am pregnant and she asked ME if I should get the cleaning done. I asked her to ask the doctor, not me. She said the doctor was busy. After a 3 min cleaning and 5 min polish I was sent home. 2 weeks later I get the insurance statement stating that I got X-rays done. I immediately called the office and i was told I don't need to worry about it as my insurance will pay the next time I visit them again. NOT TRUE, I called the insurance and they said they only pay for X-rays once in 12 months. Even if the "insurance would pay" how can they charge my insurance for something they didn't do. After keeping me on hold for 5 mins she came back and asked me what I would like to do. I asked her to call my insurance and return the money back. I don't know if she knows how to do it or if she will actually do it. I am so perplexed by the whole situation.
About Hygienist: Doctor was the hygienist, Great Manners but the cleaning was done in less than 3 mins and I DID NOT feel clean at all.

I am sorry that you had a bad experience at my office. The girl at the front desk is new and I should have trained her better. I sorry about the wait, the proceedure before you took little too long, I know it is no excuse. Your charge for the X-ray went out my mistake and it has been corrected with your insurance compay. I was a walk-in patient that was traveling in the area and was in extreme pain from a broken molar. Dr Choe got me in within about 45 min and extracted the tooth. I felt nothing during this process. I only wish I wasn't 300 miles away or I would be a permanant patient. People in the Fairfax area are fortunate to have such an asset in their area. Mr Thompson

After my last dentist dropped my insurance plan, I took a chance on Dr. Choe for my routine cleaning, and I'm very pleased that I did. He's upgraded to having all electronic records along with all the other recent tools. He's very personable, and explained how I should adjust my brushing based on what he was seeing. He gave me the price in advance of fixing a small cavity since it wasn't covered by my insurance package. The only negatives: the location is a bit odd (could just as easily be a takeout restaurant) and they were asking for a few pieces of personal data that dentists shouldn't need (cell phone number, email address, drivers license number and ssn). I'd be happy to recommend him to any of my friends.

Dr. Choe was wonderful to me. His manner is extremely friendly & you can discuss anything with him. He has helped my TMJ tremendously although, I'm not quite finished with the program. He explains every procedure up front so you know the cost & length of time & process from the beginning. No surprises. I would recommend him to anyone who either needs a specialist like me or just for regular dentistry. His a very nice guy as is all of his staff. His knowledge of dentistry is exceptional & even recommends althernative therapies when needed.

My wife and children had been going to Dr. Choe for several years, and because the dentist I had been going to seemed to have a medical issue, I started going to Dr. Choe. Dr. Choe put in new crowns, replaced others, did fillings, cleanings, and is now performing orthodontic work on me because of my TMJ. Dr. Choe has excellent bedside manner, is quite professional, and is willing to spend time with you, especially when he describes procedures he'll be doing. He's absolutely fantastic with a needle. He's efficient and competent, and I've recommended him to several people and will continue to do so.
About Hygienist: Dr. Choe's hygentist is great. She's professional, patient and friendly. Being not just a dental patient but an orthodontic one, I'm in their office frequently. You feel extremely comfortable when she assists in dental procedures, and she's quite a complement to Dr. Choe.

Dr. Choe is very knowledgable, friendly, and most importantly caring. I was in severe pain when I went to Dr. Choe's office. He immediately began the process of finding out why I was in such pain. I had been in pain for 2 weeks and Dr. Choe was the only doctor (out of the 4 that I saw prior to him) tried to help me out by allievating the pain. He gave a great suggestion to immediately reduce my pain and anxiety. He listened and actually wanted to solve the problem. I wish all doctors/dentists cared as much as Dr. Choe. I am forever grateful to him because no other doctor tried to help me. I am happy to say that my pain is minimized and I couldn't be happier with Dr. Choe, his office, and his supportive staff.
