Patient Review 1:

My husband and I have been patients with the practice for many years and have been treated with great care and consideration. Dr. Rogers gives solid, practical advice and recommends only treatments that are essential and/or preventative. He takes care to explain the reasons for particular treatments and what he is doing during procedures. He has taken pains to maintain the training and professionalism and friendliness of his entire team and that shows in the front office culture as well. Appointment times are kept punctually and this I appreciate a lot. The computerized record system is a great boon.
About Hygienist: All of the hygienists I have had have been excellent. Deborah has now been my hygienist for several years and is skilled, conscientious and thorough.
Treatment Length with Dr. Rogers: 10 years.

Patient Review 2:

I have seen enough dentists to know that Dr. Rogers is one of a kind. Dr. Rogers and his staff are terrific. They are all professional and friendly. Dr. Rogers takes the time out necessary to listen to what your concerns are (which is rare) and he is empathetic. Furthermore, he takes the time to thoroughly explain the options available and the pros and cons of each. He makes you feel comfortable and I can honestly say there is no pain. That is half the battle when going to the dentist. His office is immaculate and an added bonus is that they bake chocolate chip cookies. I would recommend Dr. Rogers definitely without question.

Patient Review 3:

I am 75 years old and Dr. Rogers is only my third regular dentist in all that time. You might say he is an international dentist for my family. My daughter who lives in Italy books appointments for her three children as soon as she books her flights to the U.S. My son in Antigua has also been a patient. A daughter in Arlington has had major TMJ work done by Dr. Rogers. Dr. Rogers is doing a second bridge for me after an implant done elsewhere failed three times. He is very understanding and carefully reviews options with me.I recommend him highly.
About Hygienist: Sally is thorough and most knowledgeable. She also was my hygienist at her prior dental office and I wanted to have her as soon as I came to Dr. Rogers' office.

Patient Review 5:

Dr. Rogers was the first dentist we visited when we moved to this area, and we've been with him ever since. Even when he moved his office from our Fairfax neigborhood to Arlington, we considered it definitely worth the added trip to stay with him. My childhood experiences with dentists had left a bad taste in my mouth (literally), but Dr. Rogers has renewed my trust in dentists. He maintains his knowledge and skills at the leading edge of dental technology and his equipment and procedures are state of the art. His chair-side manner is nothing short of outstanding! Dr. Rogers is friendly, honest and professional, and your visit is never rushed. He spends as much time as necessary diagnosing and explaining in detail any problems that you have and the options for treatment. And I must say, that with all the restorative dental work and ortodontics that I've had done by Dr. Rogers, over the years, I've never had a painful experience. Painless root canal?...Wow! The Fairlington Dental office staff is also the best in the business. Friendly, helpful, professional. They greet you by name when you come in and take care of everything for you, including completing the insurance forms. Even fresh baked cookies on your way out!
About Hygienist: Sally DiCesare is the best dental hygienist that I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with! She is freindly and professional, and she does an outstanding job. She exemplifies the care that you can expext at Fairlington Dental. It's like being with family (the ones you like)!

Patient Review 7:

I don't think I can review Dr. Rogers without reviewing the entire Fairlington Dental practice. I have never been to any medical facility that is so well run. When I walk in, I never have to introduce myself, as they all seem to know who I am. I have never had to wait more than a minute or two, which sometimes seems a shame since their waiting area is so comfortable. The front desk staff, dental hygienists and dentists all treat me with respect and seem to have all of the time in the world to answer my questions. They fully explain all treatment options, to include costs. The dental hygienists are fantastic. I never have that "ooh noo" feeling when I see them reaching for something sharp, because everything is explained to me before it happens. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Dr. Rogers is no exception. When I decided to straighten my crooked teeth (at the age of 38!), he helped me to decide which type of device I wanted to go with. He explained the effectivenss and intrusiveness of each option, as well as the overall price. I ended up selecting the most expensive option (Invisalign) and never regretted it.
Treatment Length with Dr. Rogers: Four years.

Patient Review 8:

If you want the best dental care at very reasonable prices, then Dr. Rogers and his staff are it! Our entire family has been going to Dr. Rogers for 12 years for ALL our dental care needs. You name it, he's done it for us basically pain free. He and his staff are dynamic people who are continuously getting educated (and educating others) in their field and passing their knowledge onto us. We actually followed Dr. Rogers to this practice when he left another. We tried other doctors but were very disappointed. I guess we are now spoiled!Once you tour their office, you quickly realize that they are not into this practice to just make money, they are truly committed to providing the best experience possible to every single patient - every single time. That is hard, but they actually do it.My kids are ages 16 and 12 and love to go to the dentist. and I know they are getting the best care and memories of dental treatment that will keep them going to the dentist once they are on their own. Dr. Rogers and his staff are constantly reaching for the latest technology that gives each patient the best dental care available. If you want the best dental care, then you have found it here!
About Hygienist: Our family has been treated by all the hygienists at this practice and I can honestly say that every one of them are great! Dr. Rogers only hires dynamic people who are highly educated in their field. Once you experience this dental practice, you will be hooked!

Patient Review 10:

Our family was one of the first to be patients of Dr. Brown, who was the founding dentist of the Fairlington practice. That was probably over 19 years ago ... and we wouldn't go anywhere else. We were sad to have Dr. Brown retire, but are most pleased with both Dr. Rogers and Dr. Holly. As others have said, it is nowhere the dreaded experience all of us have of our previous dentists. I often recommend them to friends looking for a good dentist ... and am thanked profusely for it. This practice is so on top of the latest technology. I am always confident that their treatment for whatever ails us is top-notch!
About Hygienist: I look forward to my routine checkups as Megan feels like family as we update each other on our lives ... children.. St. Patricks Day activities ... and the latest gossip as she thoroughly and painlessly cleans my teeth. LOVE IT!Cheryl Czapp

Patient Review 11:

For years, when someone said "dentist" to me - Steve Martins' character on Little Shop of Horrors lept into my head. Not my favorite people. I've lived in this area 20 years and Dr Rogers is my 4th dentist. I have finally struck gold! Chairside manner is first rate - I am in the midst of a dental veneer experience and it has been painless. Here's the clincher "NO NEEDLES!!!!!" I am in awe!!! I had my entire top jaw numbed and it was PAINLESS" Now I may actually go to the dentist on a regular basis!!!! I am ecstatic with the TEMPORARIES - can't wait to get the permanent veneers! Dr Rogers is thorough, gives you all options, doesn't pressure you into a decision, and is very personable. His staff is great and goes out of their way to help you feel welcome.Would HIGHLY recommend - and to all wimps..... this is the place for you !!!!!Nancy Salemi, Alexandria, VA

Patient Review 12:

I came to Dr Rogers on a referral for sleep apnea, and ended up being successfully treated for that and for my (previously unknown) TMJ disorder. He is now my regular dentist. Dr Rogers is pleasant, thorough, unrushed, and makes sure I understand all aspects of proposed treatments. His staff go the extra mile: I never have to wait more than 5 minutes, they make submitting insurance forms as easy as possible, and always have freshly-baked cookies as a parting treat. The patient chooses which channel to watch on the TV screen in every treatment room, and for long procedures we can bring in a DVD or videotape of our own to watch. Going to the office is always a delight The most important thing, of course, is the quality of the treatment, and Dr Rogers and his staff get full marks from me.
About Hygienist: Sally DiCesare is a wonderful hygienist. She is knowledgeable not only about dental matters but about general physiology and health issues. She gives me such good advice on how to take care of my mouth, and does it in such a positive way, that I *want* to do what she says. The one appointment I had with another hygienist whose name I've forgotten was also very good. I suspect that only the best work at Fairlington Dental

Patient Review 15:

Dr. Rogers is an AWESOME dentist in many ways. In particular, Dr. Rogers understands what a patient is going through as he has actually been through it himself. I have been undergoing TMJ treatment and have been to 3 other dentists besides Dr. Rogers. Dr. Rogers, by far, has been the best! His treatment plan has worked and he has been understanding about the costs involved. He's never pushed me on any treatment and will work around a budget. Dr. Rogers himself has been through TMJ and that gives him a personal insight as to the pain one is suffering. He nevers thinks something is too small or insignificant. Not only that, Dr. Rogers is ALWAYS reachable When I had a problem with my orthodic, I was able to reach Dr. Rogers on his cell phone (while he was away on a fun trip) and he had no problem counseling me on what to do and wasn't even upset that I called him on his trip. The office is also great. The front desk staff are knowledgeable, helpful and sooo friendly. It makes you smile when you walk in. Going to the dentist used to be a horrible experience for me - not anymore!!!

Patient Review 16:

Dr. Rogers is very knowledgeable, caring and friendly. He only performs procedures when necessary. I am especially happy with the preventative care he provides. The entire visit is very pleasant. You are greeted by a friendly receptionist when you arrive, and offered coffee, tea, etc. and even a foot massage. The reception area has a very relaxed atmosphere, comfortable chairs and sounds of water from a waterfall sculpture. Procedures are as stress free as possible. Everything is explanined ahead of time. Great care is taken to keep you as comfortable as possible.Check-out is easy. You are charged for services when they are performed and are given all necessary forms (including addressed and stamped envelopes) for you insurance claims. They even give you a "home-baked" cookie when you leave.
About Hygienist: The hygienists are all very knowledgeable and friendly. They do a very thorough job. My teeth always look and feel great after a cleaning.

Dr. Rogers and the crew are the GREATEST! Before learning about this office, I had a fear for dentists. However, they have completely changed my experience. Now, I am not afraid of going and I go with a big smile on my face. Dr. Rogers also did my Invisalign and provided emergency root canals. The hygienist, Sally, is the BEST. The front office is the FRIENDLIEST. I highly recommend this dental office.

Dr. Rogers, and Dr. Brown before him, have been great! They not only look out for your dental needs, but, they are concerned with your overall health. If they find things that may not be in their realm of expertise, they will let you know, so that you can go to other specialists, and get it taken care of!
