I have been a patient of Dr. Markoff's since I retired from the Army 19 years ago. I have a periodontal cleaning four times a year and have had two crowns and several replacement fillings over those years. The entire staff is not only friendly, but acts like a happy family, of which they have made me feel a part. Dr. Markoff is not only personable and relaxed but carefully explains every move he makes, which puts his patients at ease. He has the latest in high-tech equipment and can do a complete computerized crown in one two-hour sitting--fascinating and painless. And, after a visit, it is not at all unusual for Bruce Markoff to phone you at home that evening, just to see how you are doing and if there were any problems encountered. How many dentists do that?

The main dentists here are Dr. Sisel and Dr. Nichol and I had Dr. Nichol most of the time who is great. She's great with kids too. I found the front desk staff a little cold from time to time, but the quality of care was very professional and I felt like I was getting up-to-date, modern procedures and methods. Aside from Dr. Sisel I think everyone who works there is a woman. I would recommend this dentist.

He's a marvelous dentist. I have been seeing him (mostly continuosly) since I was a child. The only times I had to use another dentist were when I was not living in Virginia.I now have my entire family going to Dr. Grubbs (husband, children.)Everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Grubbs is very sensitive to ensure that he is thorough and inflicts as little pain as can be managed during procedures. I would recommend him (and have) to anyone.I have bonding on one of my front teeth necessary after an accident which broke my right front tooth. He has replaced the bonding when each has worn out since I was a child. His work is very exacting, as he is very careful with matching the color and shape of similar teeth in your mouth.

Relatively xpensive, but not enough to keep you away. Staff except for office manager Rick are VERY helpful and courteous, and some are just outstanding -- make a visit fun. The office helps other doctors and technicians in so many ways. Very admirable. Doctor Ackerman himself is plainly expert, even as an expert called into legal trials. He tends to use novocaine too much, so work is painless. Quick and very efficient, which seems to be his motto. Enjoyable, helpful and even friendly, but he won't tell you everything unless you ask (like - up front - what are the costs and what is going to happen before each visit). No limit to what he can do. I recommend him.
