Case Description
I would really like to get my teeth whitened/bleached, however when I was younger I used to brush too hard and have worn down the enamel on my front two teeth so bad that it is too sensitive to bleach even with whitestrips. When I was younger they filled it in with some type of plastic enamel and it looks like its worn down again. Is there any hope for me? I can't afford to pay thousands of dollars for veneers for all of my teeth.. not sure what options I have.

When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

If your previous fillings/decay aren''''t extensive, you might be able to get good results w/ bleaching and replacement fillings (or composite veneers) w/o having to involve porcelain veneers. Ideally, you''''d bleach first, then match the resulting shade w/ new fillings/composite veneers, but your sensitivity issues may not allow it. If you can manage, the result might not be as striking as they would be w/ porcelain veneers but might be a welcome improvement from the current situation, assuming it bothers you that much.Good luck

I think the best option is to stop by at my office for a no charge evaluation. I would like to see the two front teeth in person so I can give you other options. There is no obligation from you just a consultation so I can give you an accurate treatment choices.Yours Truly,Kia Kiani DDS

You may wish to consider a Snap-On Smile - an appliance that allows you to alter the color, shape, size, location, etc. of your teeth. Our patients are having great results with them. I can send you before and after photos if you are interested, and you can also check out their website at www.snaponsmile.com.
