Case Description
hello, I have gaps between my teeth, top mostly, and some on the bottom. The top teeth next to the incisors are small teeth and this is what is making the gaps more apparent. Am I a candidate for invisalign express and can I have the two small teeth bonded for a better appearance? I am looking for the most cost effective solution. I also have MetLife dental and it covers about 50% orthodontics. What is the cost associated with this treatment?

Hi,Invisalign Express may be a good option for you, as well as bonding of the two lateral incisors. Invisalign Express costs around $3500, and bondings cost anywhere from $350 to $650 each, depending on size, etc. Be careful looking for the most cost effective solution; cosmetic dentistry is not for the bargain hunter.Warm regards,Dr. Michael Rogers

Hello,Closing spaces can be addressed with Invisalign (as long as there are no other issues such as severe rotations of teeth or bite issues). We also have different types of brackets, if you decide to go with braces (from regular metal, clear, and self-ligating brackets). The advantage of the self-ligating brackets is that the treatment time will be shortened by about 30%. We do participate with Metlife, so the best thing to do is to call our office to schedule for a complementary orthodontic consultation to find out about the type of treatment that suits you the most, the lenght of your treatment, and the cost. There is no obligation for you to sign up to start on that visit.

Traditional Invisalign treatment is $4500 and above. Invisalign Express is about $ 1000 less. We will be able to code you better once we had a chance to see you. You may want to entertain having a complete oral exam and full mouth xrays to determine if you are a candidate for either procedure. Either way ,with proper diagnosis, is OK. Each case is different and individual , therefore estimates are not given until an examination is performed. Consider calling our office for a complimentary " look and see" consultaion before a complete oral examination . This will give you an idea.
