Case Description
I am looking for extensive cosmetic dental work to be performed under full anesthesia. Would you be able to suggest dentists who are also MetLife providers?

Are You This Patient?
When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.
Keep in mind, dental insurance companies do not pay for cosmetic services. Additionally, even if you have Metlife, it will only pay for less than 1% of the costs for the service you want. Also, such a procedure cannot be completed in 1 visit under general anesthesia, so you are looking at multiple visits under general. If you proceed, keep in mind a few things:1) you need a very skilled practitioner which you will not likely find on your plan and it does not matter since MetLife will not pay anyway2) a full mouth rehab will cost you between 30-60K3) if you need full general, it will be for more than one visit. 4) if you are serious (including having your money ready), do a search for sedation dentist and base your decision on results and not the price.
We can provide dental sedation for you in our office by a board certified anesthesiologist. You insurance coverage will be maximized but will probably cover a small portion of the total. If you want to have an estimate made for you including dental and anesthesia costs, please call us for a consultation appointment with our cosmetic general dentist and bring any recent x-rays with you. They may need to take certain xrays to give you a full evaluation and estimate.
