Case Description
Hi,
I would like to know how much it will cost to get Invisalign Express. I think I am a pretty good candidate for this type of braces. I have minor front teeth disalignment and a few slightly crooked teeth on the bottom. My two front teeth are slightly pushed front, about 3-4 mm off from the rest of the teeth.

Cost Estimate: $3000- 5000+
This is a very difficult question to answer without actually seeing the degree of crowding. In this area, full orthodontics usually averages about $5000. Invisilign is more difficult to move teeth vs. traditional braces and thus, Invisilign may take longer. Traditional braces gives many times over more control and thus will take less time. The biggest contributor to treatment time will be your teeth and your ability to comply. You know we have clear/ white porcelain brackets now. Limited orthodontics limited to just straghtening the front teeth usually averages about $3000 in this area. When making your decision, you need to weigh very carefully if there are any cranial asymmetries present, TMJ disorders ie. headaches, neck pain, back pain, dizziness, ringing in the ears, excessive occlusal forces, and airway issues. Otherwise, your teeth can become as crooked as the day before you ever had orthodontics.

We grade cases by difficulty 1) 3K 2) 4.5K 3) 5.5K. We would be happy to know where you stand. Keep in mind, creating room in the front requires moving things in the back and normally all the teeth. Most patients fall in category 2 or 3. We would be happy to do a complimentry consultation.

The treatment is not necessarily ''''''''''''''''express'''''''''''''''' but rather, less aligners are required due to the simplicity of the case.For cases that qualify for IE, treatment duration is approximately 6 months or less. The cost may vary depending on whether you are seeing an orthodontic specialist, or simply a dentist that has attended certificate training in the product. Typically IE is under 5000.
