X-rays Available: No
Case Summary

Teeth:
Last Full Mouth X-Ray: > ten years
Last Cleaning: > ten years
Case Description
I am 30 and most of my teeth have either fallen out or are broken. Part of this is due to a tongue ring I used to have, as well as smoking and never seeing a dentist. I have been horrible my whole life at taking care of my teeth. I brush twice a day, but have left it at that and now it is to late and the teeth are to bad to do anything. I want to see how much it would be to remove all my teeth and get dentures or implants. I am not sure if a doctor will even take this on. I have no insurance but an excellent job.

When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
  • Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
  • Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description, special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
  • Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
  • Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors. Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

I have seen all sorts and would recommend you make an appointment for an inital exam. We can treatment plan you, and give you cost estimates at that time. Do let me know if I can be of any assistance. Scott

I am so sorry to hear that you find yourself in this position, however, this could be a very powerful turning point for you. We have seen many cases like yours and excel at creating healthy, comfortable, natural looking smiles, no matter the starting point.

I''''''''d recommend that you review our website to find out if you are interested in what we have to offer, and then call me to schedule an exam and consultation. Many of our patients do not have health insurance, so don''''''''t let that stop you.

Congratulations on taking the first step in addressing your health and your smile! Makael, Guest Care Specialist

difficult to say what you need without either a clinical exam or xrays. even better both.

Removing of all remaining teeth is always an option, maybe not the best, but you have to make a treatment choice, One that you will be able to take to completion.. That involves cost considerations.

Sometimes it can get quite expensive , in which case you can get financing for the treatment.

As far as implants, 4-6 months after the extractions, implants might be an option. Smokers are not good candidates for successful implant treatment

the fee for anextraction is $200/tooth povided it is routine. Sometimes with the extaction of multiple teeth for dentures you might need to recotour bone.

Fee for a denture is $2500/arch

As far as implants, that can be disscused at a later date when the case is in the treatment planning stage

Based on your condition and your location, I would recommend Dr. Locklear in Washington, D.C. Her office manager, Makael, has already responded to you in an appropriate manner.

Sincerely,
